I farm and work with dairy cows and pigs in northern Illinois. I want to share with consumers what happens everyday on farms of all shapes and sizes. I have a passion for raising animals and producing safe, wholesome, affordable food for your table
Occassionally Eli gets a "timeout", when Brent puts him on top of the heater. He normally gets this when he walks with wet, dirty feet across our cow paperwork that we are working on, or when he jumps on someone from behind. He doesn't understand that it is warmer now, so we are wearing less layers of clothes, and therefore, we can feel his claws a whole lot easier. He never really bothers the cows. Occassionally, the sniff at him, but he knows they are bigger than him, and he needs to get out of their way or risk being stepped on.
I encourage you to leave comments, and ask questions to your heart's content. However, please be respectful. I reserve the right to remove derogatory or irrelevant comments.
